About The Author
Conrad Prophet is an author and publisher whose books span two decades, including Last Year Before Reality, No Time For Love, Behind the Broken Cross, Trying My Hardest, and Knowing the Rules of the Game.
Except for Knowing the Rules of the Game, a work of nonfiction, Prophet's books take readers on an odyssey through the life of Rene Anthony Davis, a compelling character whose life, relationships, friendships, choices, and consequences unfold across multiple books. From adolescence to manhood, marriage, and family, Prophet reveals the code-switching as Rene navigates his life’s journey. Each book chronicles events from Rene's life - including lifelong relations with his closest friends - the sordid secrets, betrayals, romance, loyalty, humor, and difficult realities that mark his footprints along this path and the impact on the people closest to him, including the love of his life, Bridgette Tate.
Conrad publishes each book through The Prophet Group, LLC, the company he founded and operates. Writing began as an outlet for his energy. Now it drives him to keep evolving. His newest book, Give Me A Reason, arrives in 2026, and he is currently reimagining one of his earlier novels.
Conrad is a native of Royal Oak Township by way of Inkster, Michigan. He is a United States Army veteran and a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University.
